Meet the Dream Team
At Behaviour Lane, we are a dedicated, down-to-earth team of Behaviour Support Practitioners, Family Therapists, and Coaches who are passionate about helping people thrive.
We offer both NDIS-funded and private therapy options, supporting individuals of all ages through behaviour support, counselling, coaching and family-focused interventions. Whether we are working with children, teens, or adults, our team brings a trauma-informed, person-centred, and neuroaffirming approach to every interaction.
Each of us brings unique experience, perspective, and heart to our work.
Led by Liz (who loves coffee almost as much as she loves the colour pink), our team is committed to creating safe, supportive spaces where people feel understood, empowered, and respected.

Adam Carney
Behaviour Support Practitioner | Therapeutic Mentor
Adam brings over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with complex needs across Out-of-Home Care (OOHC) and NDIS settings. His work is deeply shaped by both professional training and lived experience. Growing up in a home affected by violence, addiction, and trauma, Adam understands the impact that instability and adversity can have on a person’s life. He also faced significant challenges in his young adulthood, including struggles with mental health, substance use, and housing insecurity. These experiences fuel his commitment to helping others break cycles of trauma and build more stable, empowered futures.
Adam holds a Bachelor of Human Services and a Diploma of Community Services. He is certified in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) and has specialist training in attachment theory, needs-based frameworks, and trauma-informed practice. With a grounded, person-centred approach, Adam works alongside participants and families with empathy, respect, and authenticity, supporting them to feel seen, heard, and equipped to grow with confidence.
